Fiona Gardiner

I am an experienced therapist, passionate about each of my therapies. I came into this field by accident 26 years ago after picking up a second hand book on Hand Reflexology and became instantly hooked.

Having graduated as a Sculptor from Glasgow School of Art, I was looking for a fresh direction. I’ve always had an interest in health since a childhood illness and I found that Complementary therapies added that special dimension, awakening a passion I never knew I had.

I graduated with the Scottish School of Reflexology in 1997 before completing my Aromatherapy training with Shirley Price in 1999. Much of my massage training since has been with The Jing Institute of Advanced Massage Training. I also practise Craniosacral Therapy  having completed CST 1 and 2 and SomatoEmotional Release Level 1 with The Upledger Institute.

I recently have become a Certified Practitioner in The Emmett Technique , a safe and gentle method to help ease muscular pain in the body. Whenever possible I add this in with my other treatments and the results I have found can often be instantaneous.

My love of essential oils has now blossomed into a passion for horticulture and in my spare time, I enjoy painting and illustration. Creativity in both my massage and blending oils for the individual is a vital part of my treatment making each unique to that particular moment in time.
